Minnaars

21 Jul

Minnaars are  a fucking amazing alternative math rock five piece from the home of Kasabian – Leicester.

I first discovered them after MySpace hopping from the Gallops  page. Both bands have played gigs together before and are perfectly suited to one another. They are both fucking mindblowing for a start. Minnaars music is something that would fit in well amongst skinny jean wearing indie kids as well as stuck up scene kids with horrific haircuts in the Old Blue Last and even the wide eyed nocturnal goblins of Fabric and such would be amazed by their unbelievable music.

I’ve not had a chance to catch them live as of yet but they are playing at Reading and Leeds at the end of the month where I fully intend on seeing them. I suspect that they will be even more ferocious and hypnotic in a live setting.

Minnaars make you want to dance, fight and fuck. All at the same time. Now there’s a lovely image…

Same as! Have you heard Gallops? Check them out. Similar kind of thing – equally as awesome if not better!
